Brand Beginnings 

Founded in 2012 by Dr Yannis Alexandrides and co-founder Eva Alexandrides – a power couple with a combined 20+ years in the cosmetology industry, 111Skin is one of Harley Street’s finest skin care brands. The brand started in the 111Skin Harley Street clinic, where Dr Yannis Alexandrides has performed many cosmetic surgical procedures. The brand was born due to a lack of effective post-op healing skin care products available on the market; subsequently, Dr Yannis ended up working with scientists who were working on skin protection for astronauts and so the first 111Skin product was created – the Dramatic Healing Serum. The serum was given to all 111Skin clinic patients post-op, who instantly experienced a dramatic improvement in terms of healing, decreased swelling and bruising, and scar improvement. 

From this innovative Serum, the infamous NAC Y²™ formula was born, Dr Yannis’ most infamous recipe. The formula is supercharged with actives and antioxidants which work on the skin to reduce scarring, enhance epidermal strengthening and lead to a more youthful and luminous appearance. This formula went on to become the foundation for every 111Skin product in the Reparative Collection and in various other products from the brand.

The 111Skin Care Brand 

The 111Skin brand is a skin care brand whose products seek to replicate the aesthetics treatments and procedures which take place in a clinic. Dr Yannis is known for his innovative formulas which focus on the ageing process from the inside to out, whilst accelerating the skin’s function to repair and heal itself. 

Eva Alexandrides, Dr Yannis’ wife is also integral to the brand. It was Eva who took 111Skin to the retail market after recognising just how fantastic her husband’s formulas and products were. Eva studied her BA in International Business, followed by a Masters of ECommerce, utilising her knowledge and expertise to drive the brand’s purpose and sustainability commitments through the creation of clean, ethically sourced, and environmentally conscious products. Packaging is also designed to protect the products in the most efficient way, but minimally, with most being 100% recyclable.  111Skin as a brand are committed to working and collaborating with suppliers within the supply chain to make more ethical, social and environmentally responsible choices. At their offices and physical stores, 111Skin also ensures they are using renewable energy, whilst grounding all practices and policies with sustainability in mind. 111Skin UK were awarded the Positive Butterfly Logo (The Butterfly Mark – Certification from Positive Luxury) as recognition for brands within the luxury sector who are committed to being ethically, socially and environmentally responsible.
