Are Dr Dennis Peel Pads Worth The Hype?

Intrigued to find out if Dr Dennis peel pads are really worth the hype? This is the blog for you.

For anyone with spot-prone skin, it’s often a worry that skincare products will cause a breakout. It’s always best to research the ingredients and read reviews prior to purchasing.

The product is available on Amazon and there are several testimonials from people claiming the product cured their skin concerns. I was desperate to give it a try and have provided an overview below.

The product is a two-part peeling procedure that can be used on an “every other day” basis. Partly because doing so every day feels wasteful as it’s a one-time use item (though I guess this packaging keeps the active ingredients nice and fresh every time).

Step 1 is an exfoliating peel that is soaked on a pad and wiped over your face, and step 2 is a calming serum that soothes and replenishes the skin following the treatment. This approach appeals to me, and it appears to have worked for my sensitivity, as even the Extra Strength version does not leave my skin red, inflamed, or otherwise damaged. Regardless of this, it is important to be cautious of going outside, as sunscreen is required!

Reviewing the formula in-depth, the exfoliation stage has almost all of the AHAs and BHAs you could ask for! Glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and willow bark are all present. Glycolic acid is the most well-known AHA on the market, thanks to its remarkable capacity to break down dead skin cells on the face’s surface and wipe them away. Lactic acid functions similarly to sugar acid, but it is obtained from milk instead of sugars. It’s frequently thought to be milder than glycolic acid, and it even has humectant (water-attracting) characteristics, making it ideal for dry skin. Salicylic acid is a fatty acid that is oil soluble.

This phase also contains zinc to help with inflammation, camellia to soothe and nourish, and copper to help with skin renewal.

There are a lot of wonderful things in the serum phase. Copper and zinc are present, as well as a modest amount of skin-smoothing, anti-aging retinol. There are also lipids that nourish, moisturise, and restore the skin, as well as ascorbic acid (a form of Vitamin C) that brightens and treats dark spots. Resveratrol, which is formed from the skin of grapes and berries, is another antioxidant that can help protect the skin from environmental harm.

After using the product, my skin is silky smooth and wonderfully soft immediately after application. Since incorporating this step into my routine, it appears a lot brighter, and I’ve observed fewer red spots post-breakout. This peel has improved the texture as well as the overall appearance and feel of my skin. It truly provides me with my best skin day (nearly) every day. If you have hyper-pigmentation or texture difficulties, or simply wish to lessen the appearance of early symptoms of aging, this product has provided me with an instant glow! I will definitely purchase it again.
