We are back with another Dr Skincare Product Review and this time we are giving you our scoop on the Dr Sebagh Supreme Eye Serum. For those looking for an effective eye contour serum we really believe this is the one for you! Naturally, it is one of Dr Sebagh’s best selling products and we can see why. We have only used this product for a week so cannot yet comment on long-term use but we believe this product has the capabilities to reduce fine lines and puffiness, and alleviate dark circles when used daily morning and night. And most of the reviews online agreed with us! People are really seeing results when using this product.
Do you use an eye cream or serum? Let us know in the comments below. If you don’t you really should because we do not have any sebum glands around the orbital bone area (sebum is an oily, waxy substance produced by your body’s sebaceous glands; coating, moisturising and protecting the skin). Cosmetic Doctor, Jean-Louis Sebagh, the man behind the Dr Sebagh brand believes that everyone should start using an eye cream or serum on this area from the age of 15. So, if you haven’t previously we suggest you start now!
As you know, Dr Skincare loves Dr Sebagh because all the products are backed by science and created by a cosmetic doctor. Someone with real qualifications and experience in the field is everything we look for before investing in a brand or their products and we keep banging on about this because we want you to do the same!
“Personally, this product really surprised me, I wasn’t expecting to feel and see the formula tightening and brightening the eye contour area within five minutes of putting it on!”
How to Use Dr Sebagh Supreme Eye Serum
To use this product, firstly cleanse the skin – following your routine up until you are ready to apply your eye cream/serum. Using the roll-on applicator, apply to the eye contour area using a gentle motion from the inner to outer corners of the eye.
Use morning and night consistently.
Dr Skincare’s Sentiments
The Dr Sebagh Supreme Eye Serum (15ml) is a luxury eye serum which comes in beautiful packaging, it’s definitely on the pricier side of the scale when looking at eye serums, however, this high quality, backed-by-science formula is worth every penny in our eyes.
The roller-ball applicator allows the product to glide over your eye area smoothly, only releasing the formula when on the skin, which we really like as we believe this will help in reducing product wastage and ensure the product lasts.
Don’t get us wrong, when we first read up on this product which stated that you would feel results after five minutes, of course we were sceptical but we shouldn’t have been! You actually do feel it immediately after use, the product starts working its magic, physically tightening, brightening and refreshing the skin so it does have that WOW factor!
And let us be candid, it’s not cheap, it’s an investment, but with skincare we believe price often translates to quality in many cases.
Another thing that Dr Skincare loves about this product and all of Dr Sebagh’s products are that they are entirely paraben free and this is important because parabens can cause skin sensitivities and allergies and we firmly believe they should not be used in skincare products.
Author Sentiments
Personally, this product really surprised me, I wasn’t expecting to feel and see the formula tightening and brightening the eye contour area within five minutes of putting it on. I really enjoyed using the roller-ball applicator as I felt this made the application process more effective, luxurious and less wasteful as I’m terrible for using too much eye serum or cream when using a squeeze-type product.
The packaging was what truly stood out for me, I wasn’t expecting the eye serum to be as big so that was a nice surprise! It came in it’s own box and the overall product aesthetics were impressive – I can’t wait to style it next to all my other skincare products! It really is a luxurious product, from the formula and feel to the packaging and price but I truly believe in this product’s capabilities long-term.
Another point to add is, I’m 24 but wholeheartedly recommend this product for those with mature skin, as the brightening and tightening formula really targets that eye contour area instantly.
I also looked into whether the Dr Sebagh Advanced Ageing-Maintenance Skin Care products are pregnancy and breast-feeding safe, however, advice from Dr Sebagh himself suggests asking your doctor before proceeding with use, so please keep this in mind for those who are currently pregnant or nursing.
As we always say though, don’t just take it from us! Take it from the A-Lister’s who love Dr Sebagh just as much as us! Supermodel Cindy Crawford has worked with Dr Sebagh for many years, according to Vogue. Supermodel Elle Macpherson also swears by Dr Sebagh products. And after all, the french dermatologist and cosmetics doctor is one of the world’s leading skin experts…
